Jet Air Aircon WiFi

Is anybody running a Jet Air AC unit and managed to get it connected to their WiFi and the Jet Air or JASA application? We had a JASA-H12A4/QCI installed yesterday, remote has the WiFi button, manual says WiFi may not walk on all devices, I can't get it to work...

lol we had one installed and I tried as well and cant figure it out
 
Not all Jet aircon units have the wifi module (irrespective of the remote having a wifi indicator). My 24000btu aircon is not wifi enabled - requires a separate external wifi module to be installed.

I have a few other Jet units that have the wifi module and these connect to wifi perfectly

Yep, I think that will be the case with our AC unit.
 
A family member of mine is being quoted on the Jet Air Q Plus X which is advertised as having wifi, but on the brochure for that model it doesn't talk about the app like it does on the brochure for other smart models. So I am just worried about it being a dud.

Yeah looking at the Q Plus it doesn’t seem to have the WiFi module included. I can only see the J Smart and the Mirror one

maybe its just a mis-match between marketing and actual product

JASA is a type of reskin of the Smartlife app. (As is the CBI app and the ACDC app). Smartlife would probably have newer updates and more functions, for what it is worth.

I have just had the Jet Air Q Plus 24000BTU installed. Struggled for hours with the JASA app and trying to figure out how to get the aircon into pairing mode. Eventually I found that using this app, link below, from Jet Air instead of the JASA app worked seamlessly. As long as you have the WiFi enabled on the aircon (symbol will be displayed on remote) the app automatically detects the aircon, no need for pairing mode:

Thanks, I'll take another look, I tried both the Jet Air and JASA apps but couldn't get either to work.

Have you tried using the Smart Life App? All these other apps are just ports/ skins on Smart Life / Tuya
