Ive found it easier to work with for Tuya based devices
I tried quickly a bit earlier before I left to go to the shops, I got nowhere quickly so will have to do some more research.
I haven't used the Tuya app but i use the Smart Life app which is just another version of Tuya. I find it easier to work with. Get the aircon into pairing mode (health button 7 times i think) then in Smart Life you just connect it as a wifi airconAnyone have any advice on how I can get my aircon linked into the Tuya app? (Want to ultimately integrate into Home Assistant). The JASA app picks up my aircon no problem, however the Tuya app just doesn't discover the device.
It needs the module. Did you buy the module? Is anybody running a Jet Air AC unit and managed to get it connected to their WiFi and the Jet Air or JASA application? We had a JASA-H12A4/QCI installed yesterday, remote has the WiFi button, manual says WiFi may not walk on all devices, I can't get it to work...

Mine has the remote function and LED indicators etc but the installer said you had to add the module.
no i'll try to find out.Nope, never got around to it, do you know where it is available from?
I have just had the Jet Air Q Plus 24000BTU installed. Struggled for hours with the JASA app and trying to figure out how to get the aircon into pairing mode. Eventually I found that using this app, link below, from Jet Air instead of the JASA app worked seamlessly. As long as you have the WiFi enabled on the aircon (symbol will be displayed on remote) the app automatically detects the aircon, no need for pairing mode:

no i'll try to find out.
I didn't either as its only the one in my bedroom and i just turn it on the same settings when i get into bed and off when i get out. If I had it somewhere more used like the living room etc i would be more pushed to use it over wifi heh
