Jet Air Aircon WiFi

Anyone have any advice on how I can get my aircon linked into the Tuya app? (Want to ultimately integrate into Home Assistant). The JASA app picks up my aircon no problem, however the Tuya app just doesn't discover the device.

I haven't used the Tuya app but i use the Smart Life app which is just another version of Tuya. I find it easier to work with. Get the aircon into pairing mode (health button 7 times i think) then in Smart Life you just connect it as a wifi aircon

Is anybody running a Jet Air AC unit and managed to get it connected to their WiFi and the Jet Air or JASA application? We had a JASA-H12A4/QCI installed yesterday, remote has the WiFi button, manual says WiFi may not walk on all devices, I can't get it to work...
It needs the module. Did you buy the module?

Mine has the remote function and LED indicators etc but the installer said you had to add the module.

Nope, never got around to it, do you know where it is available from?
no i'll try to find out.

I didn't either as its only the one in my bedroom and i just turn it on the same settings when i get into bed and off when i get out. If I had it somewhere more used like the living room etc i would be more pushed to use it over wifi heh

I have just had the Jet Air Q Plus 24000BTU installed. Struggled for hours with the JASA app and trying to figure out how to get the aircon into pairing mode. Eventually I found that using this app, link below, from Jet Air instead of the JASA app worked seamlessly. As long as you have the WiFi enabled on the aircon (symbol will be displayed on remote) the app automatically detects the aircon, no need for pairing mode:

Can definately confirm this worked like a charm!!

Similar story for us, although I want to get HA up and running again and then manage large loads like geysers, aircons, pool, etc. when grid supply goes down.

Reviving this thread.

I want to install two new aircons and my installer do Jet Air. This morning they informed me J-Smart is not currently in stock but QPlus X is. Pricing will go up in November and from what I've seen the two are very similar, the QPlus X also uses R32 gas which is supposed to be more environmentally friendly etc.

It's essential for me to integrate these AC's in to Home Assistant, I know the J-Smart uses Tuya and can be accessed via the Smart Life app and ultimately Local Tuya in my HA.

However I can not find a clear answer what the QPlus X uses, it seams it doesn't use Tuya or the Smart Life app, it only uses the Jet Air app. Anyone know if I will be able to expose the QPlus X to Home Assistant?

looks like the Gree integration is the way to go

Thanks yes I found that. No confirmation that they specifically talked about the QPlus X Jet Air, but since it did not work with Tuya, I guess one can assume that it's a model like the QPlus X which only works in the Jet Air app.

Seems like everyone has done everything except for calling Jet-Air.

I did call Jet Air this morning already, the number for technical queries on their website. The oke only told me it doesn't work with Tuya or the Smart Life app, it connects directly with the Jet Air app. I could imagine him getting a blank look in his eyes and confused expression when I mentioned Home Assistant.
