I don't wear a watch, haven't for years. I do wear my wedding ring a gold bracelet and a gold necklace though.
Do the men here wear jewellery, and if so, major bling or just a watch?
Wedding ring and watch. I passed my gold chain stage in my teens.
Looks good IMO and I have the ability to tell the time as well which is an added bonus.

I sometimes wear a thumbring if the mood strikes, or a choker necklace made by a good friend of mine for my 18th birthday
other than that the tongue studd I have changes every few months. the new one I have glows in the dark when there's neon lights so its made my "opener" in clubs easier

I wear a wedding ring but that's it these days. I've got a nice watch but it was scratching the hell out of the palm-rest of my laptop so it sits in the safe, largely unused.
If I ever wore a thick gold chain it would be to hang myself in shame . . .

Well try locking the gate with your fingers then like us humans do.
I dont mind the watch scratching because I have every day watches, and costume watches so to speak. And the glass is easily replaceable as well. A watch can really finish an outfit quite nicely.
