One of the local car mags has it at 7.x up there.

There's an online review as well - trying to find it.
 
No...S2000's are quick, no doubt about it!
if not in the straight, which I highly doubt, in the twisties, and it looks bloody good too!

Yea - I also remember it being 7.x up at reef as well - just couldn't find anything.

And I think even Golf 6 GTI is just over 7 seconds up here?

Yip... but how did it manage to catch you in a MK5? They come up close to me at around 140... then I find an excuse to brake.:D
You faster than the BWAs? What mods?

Id say low 6s. I raced one, a manual, it killed me! 2 cars that gave a me real hiding from start to finish is the new MK6 and the 177kw Seat Leon...

I dunno ... the A3 2.0T Sportsback DSG with a DTM ECU (factory installed) mapping developing 162KW and 300nm torque. The owner lurks on MyBB as well and will tell me he wasn't racing (as most say if they lose) ... ;)

Next time have a look at the drivers disc on the windscreen, check the engine code, if it says BWA**** and you beat him.... errr ya then you faster than me:o
But a 162kw DSG is quick... factory maps... probably still standard.

So ... to get this straight, you still feel your Polo GTI (110KW/220nm) is as quick - or quicker - than a Volvo C30 T5 (169KW/320nm)?

The 50% more power and 50% torque doesn't say anything to you? :/ Yes - you're 300KG lighter .... but I see that helping you 1st gear at most

With my current car I'm much faster hehe. With the Golf 4 GTI (FRC tuned) I was only faster from 0-120 with a perfect launch. I lied about the S2000 passing at 160; they pass at +/-120 as well.

I doubt its 300kg...JK8 is probably 100kg of that 300kg, taking into account he has no one recording the races as he so promptly asks for evidence everytime, so he's the only one in the car, and his SEAT leon Cupra intake must weigh at least 50kg...so he's only up 150kg;)
 
I'll Google - but I remember the curb weight of a C30 T5 is 1450KG and a Polo GTI 1190KG ... so 260KG. Call me a liar for 40KG ;)

LIAR...there, I've been called far worse...so its 260kg...he weighs half i can put R2 down on that
 
He has at some point mentioned that the only performance mod he's done to his vehicle is the PD160 intake...
and that he had 120kw on the wheels BEFORE doing that mod.

JK8?

VW only rate it at 110KW at the fly with a manufactures best of 8.2 seconds. He must be on drugs ...
