John J. Browett (born 1963) is a British businessman who, among other positions, was a senior vice president of retail at Apple Inc., taking over from Ron Johnson.
He joined the company in January 2012 and left in October 2012. Before joining Apple, he was a chief executive of electronics retail group Dixons from December 2007. He previously had been the chief executive of Tesco.com. Browett holds a degree in natural sciences from the University of Cambridge and a MBA from Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania
