Here it is in full... The only person here who will understand it properly though is Randhir, because he's a [-]blood sucking good for nothing vampire[/-] lawyer.

Just playing Randhir ;)

A related point is the way that Mr Terry’s facial expression changed at the
moment he uttered the words “black ****”. He tells me, and I accept, that
he has received countless taunts, from players and spectators, about an
alleged relationship with a team-mate’s wife. By the time of this match the
taunts had occurred over an 18 month period. He had learned to live with
them. They did not anger him. Later I heard evidence from Mr Buck and
Mr Wilkins about his unusual qualities of self-control and leadership. I
8 also heard about his disciplinary record. He has been sent off four times in
600 matches, and never for abuse. There can be little doubt from this, and
from other evidence that I need not repeat here, that Mr Terry has, over
the years, been subjected to the most unpleasant personal abuse and has
had to learn to keep calm and continue to play football. On the account
given by Anton Ferdinand, there is no obvious reason why John Terry
should suddenly become annoyed by the repetition of this taunt. He had
heard it before many times. He did not react angrily the first time Anton
Ferdinand said it, nor did he immediately react angrily when the obscene
gesture was made.

Right, so it's cool to run around shouting "f****** b**** c***. Got it.

And Luis Suarez got pinged for slurring Patrice Evra? How does this work?

Did you people even read the bloody verdict? Honestly... some people...

I think the court got it right, but the FA f****** up badly with the Suarez affair. They convicted him "on the balance of probability" so now lets see if they do the same for Terry(they probably won't do anything because he is "innocent" now).

^ This!!!!!

One was done by the FA and the other was a legal matter outside footballing authorities. Also there was a lot more evidence against Suarez (coupled with Suarez changing his story a few times basically causing anything he said to be suspicious and unreliable). Anyway the context of both the statements were different, Suarez was intending to be racist and as far as the evidence seems, Terry was just retaliating to a chirp and had no intention of being racist.

Not saying Terry isn't a twat but this issue was blown out of proportion. Suarez on the other hand got what he deserved (well except if you are a Liverpool fan/staff/player in which case you still delusionally believe he was innocent)

Haha, so it's ok to call someone a F....... B..... C... but not to call someone Negrito in Spanish.

Fair enough but this verdict will impact the FAs decisions. How can the FA ban you if you are not guilty of anything? Unless it's on the grounds of bringing the game into disrepute or something on those lines.

I'm not a Liverpool fan, a Manchester United fan in fact, and I in no way see a difference between the two situations. Both Suarez and Terry are alleged to have taken the race of another player into account when ripping into them.

Anyhoo, water under the bridge.

The FA runs on different rules, so they could in effect find Terry guilty although you are right they will probably use the ruling as the basis for their decision but if they wanted to they could rule differently.

Have a look at some of the reports of what happened between Suarez and Evra, it seemed that Suarez had a full go at Evra for being black whereas Terry just said one word which he (at least for me and I think most people) didn't even mean in a racist manner. Very thin line I agree but Terry just seems to be an ass whereas Suarez seemed intent on making a point of Evra's skin colour.

I don't know where you guys get this from. Its as if no one followed the actual complaint and just focus on a single word, which to be honest was just a small part of the incident. The 'negrito' defense only popped up when Suarez could no longer excuse what he said before saying negrito(due to him denying it, then admiting a little, then denying it again etc.) and it was only said the back end of the entire incident.

I also think that what Terry has over Suarez was that Terry told the truth from the beginning and relayed facts in an accurate manner, whereas Suarez chopped and changed his story which obviously played against him when the reliability of his statements where assessed.

Not going to bother reading the verdict, if he's acquitted then he's acquitted, and everybody's best way forward is to accept that and get over it.

As for those comparing this to the Suarez case, don't. They're very different.

Different because Evra is not a black **** or because he aint a negro ?

Retard mentality !

It's different because Terry was tried in criminal court where the burden of proof is completely different from the burden of proof in the FA Kangaroo court.

Is the joke about paying just a few thousand quid , if he was guilty , true ?

How much does JT make in a day ?

Fsck he could call Ferdie a BC everyday of the week except sundays and still afford it...
