Hi Guys

Looking for Web designer that can rebuild a website for me as well as transfer Forum database onto the new site. Forum software also needs to be changed to something a bit more powerful and relevant. I've had www.xtremesports.co.za for around 10 years now and although it's in version 2 now the website is inline for a serious overhaul.

Looking at changing the domain name as well which I have already secured. Currently I have www.xsport.co.za and www.xtremesports.co.za and would like them to redirect to new site. The new site will have a totally different feel to it as well as of course the name change. Eleven years ago the whole Extreme thing was the buzz word and pretty relevant for my website and what we tried to accomplish. But today you get everything from Extreme Plumbers to Extreme hair and nails and I really don't want to be part of that space.

My main aim was to have a central South African community based site there anyone that does any type of action sport can come together and discuss. Over the years we ended up targeting a bunch of sports, but at the end of the day Kiteboarding and Wakeboarding were the only ones that really ended up being supported via the forums. Partly because we ended up targeting the inland action sports enthusiast only. With the new site we are looking at encompassing the entire Country with new website.

I dabble a little of the graphic design side so I could help out there. I have ideas of what the website should look like. I need someone that can relate to what I'm trying to accomplish at the end of the day, sing from the same song sheet and take this thing I started to the next level.

Below is a website I really like also made with Joomla and looks like it has some flash in it as well. But it will give you a good idea as to what I want the website to look like. Simple and clean. A lot of things I would not need of course but I'd say this design is about 90% of where I would like the new site to be and look like.

I would also like to know that whoever did take up this project would be available should I need something changed or at the very least be able to show me what need to be done to change something on the site. As far as CMS I'm pretty clued up in that department, but as far changing maybe a graphical element (not sure what Jooomla can do nowadays) I would like to know that if shown how I could do it myself and not be nagging the person on the phone. So basically what I'm saying is I want a site that I know I can change and populate myself without relying to much on the designer.

I'm on a tight budget and even tighter deadline. Please let me know if anyone is interested. Thanks for reading.

Tight budget is incompatible with tighter deadline.
