If the President can stick to his job after what happened then we are being completely unfair towards Joost. He must get his job back IMO.

Actually that is a very good point, although where do you draw the line? Do we then start to accept that moral decay in our society is tolerable and everyone can just do it or do we 'punish' those that can be 'punished' and hope that karma takes care of the ones we can't?

Joost is a tool. And Supersport is a business.

And not all of us are Blue Bulls...so we can think straight about this. :D

Exactly. Joost got so much cr@p mostly because he is a Christian who wasn't the honourable man he was portraying. But Zuma is an ordained pastor of a Christian church that made no fuss about Zuma's criminal and uncivilised behaviour!

I have been saying it all along!

Well, look at it like this then. Joost first denied it and then came out with everything and said he was sorry and he did it and won't do it again - he did it with one girl! He lost his job.

Jacob Zuma - need I say more...

Tiger Woods. He did it with how many woman? 13, 14, 15??? He first denied it, then went hiding, and now admitting to it all. He lost a few sponsors, but he won't loose his spot on the PGA tour and its up to him if the wants to play in the US masters...

How is the Joost incident so much diffirent from the Tiger situation appart from 10+ woman? How come is Joost the scum of this earth jet Tiger stays a hero. When Joost did it, he was rediculed and people said really bad things, but when Tiger did it - they say he's only human and is allowed to make mistakes???

There is something seriously wrong with the logic being used when people argument about this. I say give his job back. Allow him to do what he love - just like Tiger. Why take away all his credibility but allow Tiger to still be a hero???

Hmmm...Joost conveniently admitted everything just before launching his book. Many people think Joost is an idiot, regardless of his chemical/sexual/underclothing/religious preferences.

If SuperSport deems him to be a reputational risk, so be it. There choice, free society and all. Many sponsors also dropped Tiger. And if we had a real multi-party democracy Zuma would've been dropped too. ;)

Joost should have been fired long time ago, regardless of his self made predicament.

In all of the examples - the personal lives should not matter (maybe in the case of the president it should).

The other big difference is culture.

In Zuma's culture these sort of things he does are great.
He is a role model.

In Joost's, not so great.
Not a role model in his culture.

I dont see these reasons good enough for Joost to get his job back, it will leave a bad mark with SS & the multichoice company. Plus Joost said that he doesnt want to go back. Quite honestly I couldnt give a rats ass whether he comes back or not.
