Jorg Erlemeier is the Head of Middle East and Africa Region, Nokia Siemens Networks
With about 15 years of international experience in the telecommunications industry, Jörg is a leader who is passionate about this business. He is known to challenge existing business operating models and is deeply committed to ensuring customer satisfaction. Jörg has a strong focus on execution, believes in open communication and teamwork to ensure the best results for customers and the company.
As Head of Services Asia Pacific Region (April 2007 to September 2009), Jörg oversaw the entire services business of the company in the region. He developed the business to a strong level in a complex environment of developed markets and global economical challenges.
Jörg joined Nokia in 1994 and held a number of senior management positions in Services, both in Marketing and Operations as well as in Sales. He held these positions in several locations that included the United Kingdom, Italy, Finland, Germany and Singapore.
Jörg was responsible for a portfolio of Nokia’s infrastructure customers in Europe and key new growth
markets. He developed the global Nokia relationship with the Hutchison Group to bring it to a strong new level, and significantly expanded Nokia’s market share during his European assignments. Jörg is
experienced in important negotiations with complex exposure and financial arrangements.
Prior to joining Nokia, Jörg worked with RAG in Germany in the engineering industry. Born in 1965, Jörg has a Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics and Telecommunications) from Fachhochschule Aachen, Germany. In his spare time, Jörg enjoys music, plays tennis and likes to explore
new places and cultures with his family. Based in Singapore, he is married and has two children.
