I make use of Jquery and yes it will definitely compliment it depending on what you want to do though

Google jquery and then Google ajax. jQuery is a javascript library and Ajax is a technology.

jQuery makes the use of Ajax a lot easier.

Assuming you mean Windows Presentation Foundation - stay away from it. It's awful to use.

Actually companies are moving away from WinForms to WPF.

Then you just don't know how to use it. If you couple it with MVVM it makes your code a lot cleaner and easier to maintain. Off course, on a large system it is almost impossible to use pure MVVM but not using it should be the exception.

Never used JQuery but did use Prototype. They do make the use of AJAX a lot easier.

What is your real question though, OP?
