Judge Mabel Jansen resigns

if something race related is embarrassing because you relate to it, its racist.

just dont offend someone it might hurt their feelings and trample on their right to dignit, its pathetic, weak and petty tbh.

ignoring things because its uncomfortable is the reason **** happens.

its called turning a blind eye, this country is full of it. easier to blame the boogeyman than look in the mirror.

So I call you a racist because I perceive a few men on this forum to be racist, you will be ok with that?

Say we take a baby from every single country in the world and put them on a island designed to give them all an equalized path through the first, say, 21 years of their life. Are their racial differences going to make a profound difference in how they turn out? I doubt it.

That there are very profound culture-related issues around the world is not even debatable. That the socioeconomic circumstances in which a population finds themselves has a profound impact on the group is also obvious. That we tend to group (or be grouped) together along racial lines is also fairly typical human behaviour (for a variety of reasons, some good, some bad and some neutral).

To my mind, there's nothing at all wrong with debating and speaking openly about the first two. However: "I feel like vomiting.... So no - the black people are by far by far from angels - their conduct is despicable" (and here she is specifically referencing black culture in relation to rape, sexual entitlement, incest, murder...) - How the **** anyone can read this and not see it as racist is beyond me.

It IS important how we frame and talk about these things. Not because being PC is important, but because healthy dialogue is the only way in which we will move forward. These issues can be spoken about without generalizing about an entire race group.

Unfortunately...

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to copacetic again.

She's a whitey and made reference to a tabboo race for a whitey. Period. A whitey may not relete what they experienced or believe about black people as they would be judged as we can see clearly even this thread by a specific group. Only black people in senior or public positions are allowed to make comments against other races and [-]may[-/]will be forgiven for it and then continue their career without any consequences. For whiteys thats a taboo notion.

Shame, do you want some source with that chip on your shoulder?

Don't spoil his narrative. The fact that many thousands of people, me as well years ago, use taxis daily and has never seen that happen is just purely coincidental.

Probably nothing. I used to be afraid to go into the black townships for work purposes. We're just two women. Sure, we're Indian and we're not teenagers, but nothing's ever happened. Black men and women all walk by and greet us. Nobody's ever looked at us weird or told us to get out. Not a single black man in the townships has even propositioned us. Make of that what you will.

!!!! You're a woman?

So I call you a racist because I perceive a few men on this forum to be racist, you will be ok with that?

think of me what you like, why should it matter what a stranger on the internet thinks or says about me?

Why would you call him a racist?

Also, why be racist when you can just hate everyone?

You were inferring that rape is race related as per Mabel Jansen. Which is not true since not all, or even most black men rape. So my question to you, again, is if you would be fine with me calling you a racist because some white men on this forum are racists? I'm not saying you are one. Not yet at least.

no i was not.

for someone to come to a conclusion and generalise they would have had to be exposed to similar situations repeatedly.

instead of people going hang on, what is going on here, people rather outright demonise and pretend something is not going on because it might hit too close to home and hurt feelings.

there is definitely a cultural thing about old men taking young girls within certain groups / subcultures, to deny it is to turn a blind eye. because its easier.

it happens within different cultures around the world, guess which is more prevalent with this woman. hence her outlook.

she should however not have made public comments like those with the position she held. so its probably better she stepped down, it seems like shes had/seen enough.

remember the ideas of man and women being equal for example is a modern concept, these ideas are not so advanced within some tribal/cultural/subcultural systems. there are old ways that need to abolished.

What? WHERE did she say that? This is what she said BASED on her experience.

The posts included comments by Jansen, such as: "In their culture a woman is there to pleasure them. Period. It is seen as an absolute right and a woman's consent is not required," as well as "I still have to meet a black girl who was not raped at about 12. I am dead serious."

Actually its those with the inferioriry complex with the chip on their shoulders therefore their constant cry "Racist"/"Racism" for everything any whitey say. Even by distorting facts and context.

Who's culture?

You guys, seriously smh you can wriggle and squirm but you can't get away with denying racism here

For sure? Nowadays I am sure if I fart in a queue with certain customers around me I will be apprehended and accused of deliberate racist action just because they smelled something fishy.

In context, which we do not have, I'm sure she only related her real life work experience. Time to go through all her cases as surely if she was racist it would have showed up long ago. But let me not spoil your sjw fantasy.

Example:

During his 2006 rape trial, President Jacob Zuma testified that his accuser was wearing a kanga and he interpreted the dress as a sexual invitation. (Oupa Nkosi, M&G)

Yeah, so whose culture is she talking about? Answer the question.

Do you think it's only in Zuma's culture that men blame female rape victims for dressing provocatively?

Jansen was a judge, she got to see the worst people every day, that's true for all judges who deal with criminals all day. You don't generalise about an entire race or culture or gender based on the behaviour of it's worst people. Otherwise we'll have generalise that all men are rapists and whites are all pedophiles (it's their culture), right?

You want more examples? I can post hundreds.

SEXUAL HARASSMENT OF WOMEN IN SOUTH AFRICA
The most recent example happened last weekend when three White female classmates and I went to the beach with two African girls from my homestay family. While trying to play in the ocean waves each of us were relentlessly harassed, taunted, and groped by several men. One man tightly grabbed me in a hold from behind, locking my arms down and pressing me against him.

He refused to let go despite me using all of the strength in my body to get out of his grip. My physical and verbal pleas to get away did not affect him. He only released me after two of my friends hit him and pried his arms away. After a wave knocked down my thirteen-year-old homestay sister, a different man fondled her breasts while trying to “help” her. The next two hours of trying to enjoy the water were periodically interrupted by harassment like this and decisions to relocate to areas less polluted by men.

Not sure what you're trying to prove here? Examples of what?
Answer the question, whose culture was she talking about Mr it's-not-racist? That there are criminals in South Africa? Does the water polo coach who was arrested the other day for sexually assaulting kids now represent all south africans? Are we to assume all white men, especially disabled white men are murderers because of Oscar? Does crime not happen in other parts of the world? I'm sure you could give me examples of white pedophiles, of European rapists. I'm sure you could also give me examples of black South africans who are kind and generous and supportive. Who fight crime and support disadvantaged kids. Etc, etc... Right? Of course, if you only focus on all examples the bad behaviour by people then that's all you'll see

The shocking truth about rape in South Africa

The publication cited an anonymous survey conducted in 2016 in Diepsloot – a densely population township north of Johannesburg – where 38% of men (two in five) admitted to having forced a woman into have sex with them.

Rape-stats.jpg

Now tell me again there us no culture of rape and disrespect for a woman saying NO! in South Africa.

Virgin cleansing myth
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virgin_cleansing_myth

A survey by the University Of South Africa (UNISA) in South Africa found that 18 percent of laborers thought that having sex with a virgin cures HIV/AIDS. An earlier study in 1999 by sexual health educators in Gauteng reported that 32 percent of the survey participants believed the myth.[5]

There we go. Even cultural healers advises men to rape.

Of course, if you only focus on all examples the bad behaviour by people then that's all you'll see

thanks for that..so can we now conclude that the judge had to deal with such bad behaviour all day every day due to her duties thus her focus or rather daily experience with the accused and their attitudes formulated her views as she related in her emails. For that she lost her Job but we have pieces of shirt and scum like Zuma who can say what the like about other races in partivular whites yet they keep their jobs and after an "apology" do the same again. That's the crux.
