Roman dutch law does not accommodate polygamy, secondly marriages fall under the Marriage Act of 1961 which is an act of parliament. Only some issues relating to marriage (not addressed in the Act) fall under roman dutch law.

That's my point. Much of what you ascribe to has already been covered by the act. Unless you want a second wife, in which case you can take the matter to court.

If you live amongst the people in these areas and follow their customs and traditions, you can actually take a valid argument to court. You can then take the customary law route, provided your current wife allows it.
