Jumpgate Evolution Beta

Still waiting myself. Can't wait to see what they do with this game
 
I was reading around on the site and the impression I got was a lot similar to EVE Online, except this is more combat orientated, or rather more involving combat.

I liked eve, but it was quite slow paced and hard to get used to at first. I might try this one some time.

I tried EVE Online, but it was way to complicated for me, I want something like Freelancer, just... better... but just as easy and fun.
 
I've tried Eve around 6/7 times and each time I got bored. Once I almost lasted the full 14 days of the trial :D
 
I just wanna shoot stuff. If it is anything like Elite im hooked. Hated EVE. Im sure after playing eve you can pilot the space shuttle !

After checking out Jumpgate, i wanna play EVE till it comes out :(

Ill sign up for the Jumpgate beta at home this evening :D and might sneak back onto EVE for the 14 day trial :rolleyes:

I lasted 8 days ^_^

Edit: Actually theres probably only one online RPG/mmo/whatever I'll probably play and that is Guild Wars, and hopefully within a year Guild wars 2! hehe

Other than that I prefer fast paced shooters or something for that instant enjoyment, and only when I have time, nice long stretches of questing, etc in an rpg.

If this game has a nice combat system that wont be hindered by my bad lag, then I might play it... probably not if its got a monthly sub though haha

Looks interesting, going to sign up this evening

Lasted 4 years before i took a break from eve though (playing cod 4 mostly now):D

Hehe I've been playing Guild Wars for around 26 months now. I've tried around 20 MMOs in total...they're the only genre I can really get into.
