I have been moaning and groaning about my poor neotel service for 3 years now and now that I have networked it and noticed how slow it really is I have to jump ship.

On a single computer my download speed is between 20 KBs and max 60 KBs (http), on average I download about 30 gigs a month.
I am on a prime unlimited package and already paying R1000 an month so I am here to ask you guys what package can I go to that has a slightly faster download speed and still be able to download my 30 gigs a month.

Please help my sanity is in your hands.
 
I can't believe Neotel still has customers - stop fighting it, come to ADSL - seriously, Neotel is not worth all the drama!

A friend of mine just signed up with Neotel and is getting incredible speeds- faster than his 3G through vodacom. I guess it depends on your location

3G is ~ 40 KB/s, about the same as a 384k line. That's nothing special :)

If there was an industry award for most loyal customer, you sir would be the undesputed winner.
 
You could get an uncapped 384 line and get better overall speeds with adsl! I got 384, and I have downloaded over 40gb this month so far...not on uncapped, but an unshaped account.
 
Grief! Your a sucker for punishment!

MWeb all the way - you will get a lot faster speeds, a ton more bandwidth and save every month.
