What does it pay?
R10 – 15 000 pm (keep reading, please :))

How far will I drive?
You won't, mostly. Work-at-home. PJs optional.

What hours will I work?
Up to you, but will need 2-3 hours normal workday crossover. Total hours will depend. Again, keep reading.

Which industry is this company?
Software Development

What will I need to know to get this job?
  • Relevant tertiary qualification would be nice
  • Ability to manage your time effectively
  • Ability to pick up new technologies
  • Understanding of good programming practices
  • Any existing mobile dev work to show off a plus
  • Xamarin experiance a big plus

What will I do every day?
You will be helping to develop small mobile applications for iOS and Android using Xamarin. In other words you'll be writing C# code and building UIs in Xamarin's design tools based on interactive mockup prototypes.

The bit I said to keep reading for
I realise this isn't a massive salary for a decent programmer. These are projects I am working on myself, and need some extra dev hands to help with . Since I'm funding the development myself for now and my budget isn't spectacular, I am happy to expect a lower number of hours per week (negotiable based on the candidate). As such, this is ideally suited for a postgrad looking for something part time to take on-or anyone else that may be willing to take a bit of a pay knock in exchange for free time.

If interested, please PM me or preferably email me on mattbenic at gmail dot com. Please, no agents.
