Requirements
- 2 years development experience
- Well-versed in HTML, CSS, and Javascript - frontend development
- Excellent WordPress skills with the ability to extend this CMS as needed e.g. customising themes, building custom post types etc
- Experience with responsive development and frameworks e.g. Bootstrap
- Maintain current clients static and CMS driven sites with various development and maintenance tasks
- A good understanding of PHP5
- Experience with MySQL database design and development
- Knowledge of semantic HTML and experience implementing search engine optimisation techniques
- Experience with cross-browser compatibility including Internet Explorer rendering issues and solutions
- Make a point of being aware of, and implementing, Web Standards and good coding practises, as well as user-oriented design
- Supporting custom CMS/CRM development using PHP frameworks
- Attention to detail and a perfectionist approach to development
- Excellent experience working on websites - entire lifecycle
- Experience working within a digital agency
- Ability to work in an Agile Environment
- Ability to work on multiple projects
- Willingness to work in an idea generating environment that will consist of brainstorming sessions with a multi faceted team
Advantageous
- Experience with Drupal
- PHP Frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter, CakePHP, Zend etc)
- Mobile experience (Bonus)
- Other development languages (Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Python etc)
