Jurassic World

Why the heck are dinosaurs bulletproof? Also, if I were to gengineer the ultimate predator, I would certainly develop a countermeasure to go with it. Something like a neuro toxin that would take it down very quickly. Also, if you're going to implant a tracking beacon, put it in a location that it cannot reach to dig out.

Finally, why the heck aren't they using IR goggles to track it? Dinosaurs were warm blooded. I mean ffs stop being so darn incompetent.

No one cares.

I didn't really think that the 3D version was anything amazing. There is really only one scene where something jumps out at you.
If I could have found the 2D version I would have rather gone to that. Or the 3D Imax version.
I was glad to get the choice of both when I went to watch so I picked 2D.

If I go with the kids they always want 3D so I've seen quite a few movies like that. They always seem so dark. I can only think of one that I actually enjoyed and thought the 3D worthwhile and that was Guardians of the Galaxy.

Too far fetched and too many plot holes for me. If you want to make science fiction, don't put T-Rex sized plot holes into it.

The whole movie was this guy's fault...

Disagree. Also not a fan of 3D even though I watched this at the IMAX. I would prefer not having to wear anything..

I hate Game of Thrones but that doesn't make it bad....

Gravity just to name one.....

The 3D doesn't make it any better. I watch most movies in 3D because I watch it in the first week on the biggest screen I can mind. I cannot think of one memorable 3D moment.

Neither can I. The shark scene was pretty underwhelming..

It's not real 3D, they force perspective on top of the 2D version. It's done to increase revenue and to justify the investment in 3D projectors that were forced on the theatres.

Interesting. Without giving it too much thought, I assumed these new movies were all filmed in 3D.

Nope, Jurassic World was shot natively in 3D.

If that was the case they did a completely pathetic job of it. I saw it in 3D and didn't notice any depth at all. For real 3D, see Avatar.

The whole point of 3D is depth, if everything looks 2D except for a scene or two then it's not real 3D.

I certainly noticed the depth, and the stand out elements were crisply outlined and distinctive.
I just didn't think there was enough "action" or "jump out at you" moments to justify the use of 3D.
