Jurassic World

So the TRX was very very clever, did they explain why ? i know the navy seal guy said something about isolation making it different from other dinosaurs

Apparently the product placement was done satirically. I think that might be a cop-out, but that's what I've read...

Movie was exactly what they intended - mindless entertainment. If you rate movies based on what they were meant to be, this one rates very high, the boss and I enjoyed it.
 
Just watched it in 2D (3D movies are too dark). Kept me hooked for the whole movie, mind didn't wander to other things.

And glad my internal adblock works properly, only products I noticed were the Merc G-wagon and the 6x6 truck, but just as valid part of the scenes.
 
Why did the t-rex help them fight off the hybrid by partnering up with humans and that little dinosaur. It should have been wild and killed everything

Movie magic, or maybe the trex felt like there could only be one big scary Dino on the island and it was not going to be that up and comer. I mean it survived raptors and had once ate s lawyer it could take this thing on.

Think at the end, when he stands alone looking over everything, its clear why he helped. The humans are now gone, that Hybrid is gone, and he is king of Jurassic again.
 
So, I finally watched the movie

Lets see - boy meets girl, charms the socks off of her ..... check
Main girls beauty is only rivaled by her wisdom ....... check
Main man has skills totally unrelated to the task he performs, but will need said skills to save the world ..... check
The USA is the saviour of the world .... check
The baddy in the movie is badder than other baddies ..... check
The not so lekker dude gets whats comming to him ..... check
Theres a lesson to be learnt from the whole shebang ............ check

Yeah, same sh*t different day

Having said that - it was cool all in all
 
I could not finish this piece of garbage. Totally incomprehensible that it would have done so well at the box office.

You realise that it is a Jurassic World movie right? What could you possibly have expected from it other than what it was?

What do you mean? There is only one Jurassic World movie. I had no expectations, and didn't think it would be nearly as good as the original, but it turned out to be unwatchably bad. The two kids, like what were they even doing there? And the woman in high heels who seems to be a delinquent aunt or something suddenly turns into GI Jane and kisses that guy. And raptor whispering??? Undiluted garbage, and what's worse, it was clear that the director was embarrassed that he even made it. Look at all the comments about how much better the original Jurassic Park was.

I meant it is a Jurassic movie. All of them have kids in them.

Very few movies will ever be as good as the original. I rate this one better than no 3 to be honest. The Raptor "whispering" almost started at the end of no 3 when they let the humans live for returning the egg.
