Journalists over exaggerated crime in SA - Malema

African National Congress Youth League President Julius Malema said on Friday international journalists had over exaggerated the crime situation in the country.

Malema was addressing members of the Foreign Correspondents Association in Rosebank.

He said the way South Africa was being reported overseas was sending the wrong message to international visitors especially when the FIFA World Cup is approaching.

“The manner in which foreign media has reported about us has led to other people believing that to visit South Africa you need to be well prepared wearing bullet proof vest and be driven in a bullet proof car,” said Malema.

This from someone with his own security protection unit ?

He's right though you dont need a bullet proof vest, you need a tank.:D

How much must you pay car guards to watch a tank, or should that be tank guards. And what about assisted parking and reversing, do car guards know how to do this with regards to tanks. Can armoured cars and APC's be used in place of tanks?

Nope, only tanks have enough armour to protect you from the high powered weapons criminals are using these days.:D

If you are driving a tank, who cares about that? Just park on whoever's car is closest to the entrance :D

Well, a Ratel would be awesome

Yep, easy to yap his ignorance from behind his security unit.

Like the coward chicken sh*t with the killwhitey blog, step into public dipsh*t...

The cowards can't take the sh*t they dish out...

Why on earth is Julius talking to the Foreign Correspondents Association? He's a youth leader and probably our worst politician, who decides to send him there?
