I just bought my copy and installed. Can someone give me some indication on the size of the patch before I can play?

Can anyone suggest a server I should start on? Destruction ofc.

Well me and a buddy is on See of Dreams server.
Warior priest & Swordmaster combo is starting to own everything alot better than the 2 engineers we started WAR with.

We can actually turn the battle to our side in pvp vs large groups.
Black Orcs can bring it on now

Well alot of us rolled Destro on Karak-Vlag [medium pop] , but the same people all rolled Order on Karak-Hirn [high pop] . It looks like the guys are focusing on their Order chars for now [Karak-Hirn], so i don't think Karak-Vlag will be useful if you want to be Destro at this stage.

The advantage of Order that i've been quite enjoying is 1-2 minute scenario queues vs. the 30-60 minute queues on Karak-Vlag Destro.

The problem with quick queues are people tend to concentrate less, everyone is going "ah well, better luck in 2 minutes" . I can see alot of Order players just chilling and not focusing at all [almost like they're on the phone and making coffee] . The destro guys, especially if you know you will wait 30 minutes, play like it matters...i mean a 30+ minute wait mean you're there to win and max the xp while you can....

This is also why Destro is more often grabbing the RvR objectives, because they have time to kill. Order is all in the scenarios.

Because i must say, some scenarios on Order i've been with some real nubcakes...epic fail. It's just sad when i see Destro coming in with a plan and totally steamrolling us because they play properly and the Order guys just messing around trying to hoard random kills.

I see EU is quite a bit more expensive than US - what are the gametime prices? can you setup a sub like wow?
Are the locally sold copies for EU?

WAR's costs and payment options and regional options should be identical to WoW. The shops in SA will be selling the EU version [same as WoW], so you can assume majority of players will be on EU.

You really don't want to be on US anyway, primarily because of the timezones.

The cost per month will most probably be in the 13-15EUR area, usually it's the same as the US price [converted to euro] . $15 is the accepted standard for a MMO these days.
