Just got mugged for the first time...

It happen to me in town, and guess what nobody does nothing. During peach day light, they just watch it happening to you, seriously at times, I want to leave this country but it's my birth home. I'll stay and fight, and face the music untill there is nothing else to do in this country. I've noticed many things, from car hi-jacking to various other things infront of my eyes, you think it's a movie but it's life and reality. Either, we stay and fight or bring back the death penality. "Oh btw, forgot to mention, we also had a chop shop right next to our house" I never even knew things were this worst, untill the SAPS, came over to my house with a Heli-Copter, i thought, I was going to go to jail, for evading the tax man " kidding.. But darn, it was scary, gun bulliets flying left right and centre ;)

I feel your pain - I got mugged today for the second time. The first time was with a knife and today was with a gun. And it all happened within the last 6 months near where I work in Cape Town CBD during lunch.

Today's incident took place just before I got to the SARS building near the parking lot - at 1 in the afternoon!

Funny thing is - both incidents are much the same - they first tried to sell me something to get my attention - then they show you their weapon and ask you for your cellphone, cash, etc. Luckily I didn't get hurt - but I wont leave the office anymore for lunch...

sigh...
Sorry 2 hear this. I dont know WHAT 2 tell you, but i think its time that the people who are "worth while" to live, take a stand before its 2 late and get rid of all the scum

That's terrible, sorry to hear. I wonder if not looking at what they have would have helped? I just ignore anyone when walking in town.
