Wow people actually sell used wow games and stuff? How does that work? Is that like me playing FIFA, winning tournaments and then selling my saved game?

Less than what you expect to get for it and more than what most are willing to pay for it ;)

Well having 8 x level 85's is nothing to sneeze at... thats a lot of time / work and effort put into that account... however... when it comes to selling of accounts, highly geared characters are worth more in the selling market, than having a number of average geared 85's.
If you had something like the new legendary, I am sure your account would be worth quite a number. Also now with titles, feats of strength and achievements, your exstra characters are seen as value added components.
Accounts people pay big bucks for, are the ones with a vast raiding history, accounts with very rare mounts, achievements like "alone in the dark" / "tribute to insanity" etc which has been completed in the relevant tier / timespan it was released. Also things like having the "insane" title... its little 3p33n things people want... the exclusivity factor in a game, where millions of other people are playing.

Ye well druid and shammy sre the main chars and untill a few months ago i raided alot with them (druid was last main) so they do have a lot of titles between them.
Guess i will sit them all arround an inn (in a major city) and log them all there. Then chuck the disks cd's etc away, also change the pass key.
Btw also have a starcraft account attached to the battlenet so that will have to go to (never liked it)

Can do that, or take a break for a few months ;)
BTW you still will get some money for the account, just don't expect too much. For example I have seen any single of those toons selling for around R1000- R1500 each (similar geared on e-bay). But for a account full of those type of chars you most likely will still get R1000 - R1500, most people will not buy a collection of chars but rather something specific they want to play with.
There are ofc people that will pay you quite a bit if they need a particular char...

I think the fact that your priest only has 519 alchemy, and your mage has 517 herbing is going to count against you.

I think generally selling of accounts has lost its wow factor

They on Talnivarr and yes i do work ... just been playing since beta.
So done the 40 man raids and watched the world grow and change.
the only thing i have not done are the latest fireland raids, our guild has lost direction and i really do not feel like building it all up again.
And i have all profs maxed out through my chars, that is why i did not bother with the duplicated ones.
Still do not feel that happy about selling, think i will give it to one of my mates.
So many years of playing, have to stop now :)
