Justifying Telkom Line Rental

In fact the stakes are much higher than a few bucks. The Western Cape Investment and Trade Promotion Agency estimates that the province exported 77 million rand (£5.5 million) worth of copper to China last year - no mean feat for an area that has no copper mines.

I'd love it if Telkom dropped the line rental but if that means no phones to people in problem areas then I'd rather keep it.

Do mean the R100 line rental or the R245 ADSL access charge?
