I am typing this hoping the modem won't be disconnected again in the... oh.. wait.. there it goes, so anyway...
I am using a K3520 with Widnows 7 and OSX (snow leapord). On windows I get disconnected every few minutes and then have to exit the mobile connect software, unplug the modem and replug and start software before I can make a connection again. The signal strength bars are showing as full/excelent in the software. To make things worse, on OSX I don't experience these disconnects and went 3 days straight without a disconnect.
So where is the problem? Do I need some kinda new drivers for the thing under windows, or a firmware upgrade? I've been testing with the software that comes on the stick and latest Mobile Connect v 9.4.4.17702 I could find on the net.
[edit] I noticed that with Skype on I get these disconnects, while without it the modem seems to stay connected. Gonna leave Skype off a bit a do further testing.
