Colleague of mine has the K3565-Z modem. He also had trouble using the modem with the Vodafone Mobile Broadband dashboard. Eventually he installed the ZTE Join Air dashboard and drivers and it worked like a charm.

KEEP IN MIND: He uninstalled all other dashboards (8ta & VMB/VMC) and he has the K3565-Z (don't know if this will work for you. But it's worth a try, right? )

I'm using K4505. If you dont need a dashboard you can just simply use it as dial up modem. Dial *99# and leave user and pwd blank.

i am using vodafone K4605 , when you get errors saying the sim card is incorrect , just close the window.go to connect to and select
the 8 ta connection.using windows 7.apn: internet and select manual connection.
