K3570-Z Worth replacing with a 8ta modem (Latency)?

Hi everyone, decided to register quickly to ask a question
Just Signed up for 8ta's 10 gig deal recently while using a k3570-z ZTE modem i had lying around. I'm pretty happy speed wise, however the latency's really not up to scratch. would replacing the modem with either the 7.2 or the 21mbps modem's they sell improve my latency at all?

At work so cannot post a speedtest but roughly 150ms or so. reckon i'm just gonna replace it regardless as i've been having issues with it with crunchbang anyways.

just look on gumtree for e220 or 272 modem for cheap.
