K4505 modem question

Anyone know on the new K4505 modems where if you slide it open there is a small adapter hole thingy there, whats that supposed to be for?

It's an external antenna connector.

Last time I checked, Poynting don't have a pigtail for the ZTE version (K4505-Z).

Yes, I've asked Poynting about this. Last I heard they said they will have to get a device and make the connector for it or something along those lines. Will have to question them again.

Where can I buy the K4505-z modem as it seems that it is mostly available via Vodacom on contract?
