K850i built in IM client

Has anyone managed to get the K850i's built in IM client(My friends) to work with msn messenger or gtalk on the Vodacom network?

I have a k850i. . . I never bothered to use that thing though. In my experience those things are more designed for european markets. There are a million and one java apps that have the same or better functionality you can download for free

The thing with java apps like fring or ebuddy is that you need to go into application to launch it VS the build in app under messages + there is no need to minimise the application when not in use.

Anyone got this working?

yeah Motorola also had something the same which I tried to get working but never got it right
