KaChing shutting down

South African ticketless parking platform KaChing will shut down at the end of August 2025, the company announced in an email to users on Thursday.

"After ten years of innovation and dedication, the time has come for us to acknowledge that the technology we pioneered has run its course," KaChing said.

Admyt, works like a bomb for me. But it does irk me that I must pay for the luxury of giving my money away...

I use Adymt with a prepaid virtual card and I'm happy with that

You don't have to give sanral your credit card details, you can top up your account from your bank account. Admyt also works with the etag, so they also don't have access to your cc details.

The ticket system at Canal Walk in Cape Town works like that.
I use the QR scanner in my bank app to pay, skipping the payment machine.

Depends where you go. We haven't paid for centre parking for years.
