Kalahari.com vouchers thread

I think the R75 is for R350 spend or more (it was for the voucher code above I used this morning, and all previous ones were the same), though I may be mistaken and there's another floating around...

254529-otblq4a6-1 75 off 350 is the only 75 off one that I know of that is still active.

I've got a Kalahari voucher,

Here's a R50* voucher:

Voucher code: 270223-jtmbb7fa-1

Voucher expires midnight on 30th June 2014.

My bad yes, R75 off R350. I noticed I haven't been getting any vouchers from Kalahari since the "blatant abuse" incident.

Kalahari has delayed my order by over a month. Never ordering from them again.
I've placed three takealot orders in the last month and all of them arrived on time or before (less then 3 days).

Only ever had once a problem with them when I bought a harddrive which was faulty from get-go and they didn't agree, but recent 12 orders I have had no problems.. especially with their voucher spree I'm happy camper!

That is *if* they actually are going to fulfill it.

KDN said to me it will arrive on the 10th june, I waited and then magically no stock with order canceled. However their page kept on saying they had stock now and them. After total ape**** on FB, HelloPeter and Support@KDN I finally got my refund. What a waste, what a pathetic company.

...just visit HP and see how **** they really are: http://hellopeter.com/kalahari-com/compliments-and-complaints

I think kalahari is making me wait! So i used the R50.00 off voucher on a Logitech F310 remote for pc, it has been ready to ship since 4pm yesterday .... im sure someone is like 'oh he used a voucher, well deliveries on mondays are cheaper because its bulk delivery day so lets just make him wait!'
However...
I initiated a return of an item to kalahari (it was an unwanted get for some one) and i initiated the return, 2 days later the courier company calls me, can they pick it up? i said yes, 15min later they arrive and take my item away, next day get email from Kalahari saying they received my order, and they will call me once the neccessary process has been done. Now, no money has been returned to me yet but that is because they must process it and only after they call me it will take between 5 days to return my money... So we shall see ... however thus far it was painless.

Has anyone else had the problem where you have placed n order for an item, paid for it, only to check it like 2 days later and see the price has been reduced? I mean i ordered 2 sets of printer ink cartridges, which totaled to R738.00 , paid for it, then i check 3 days later and both the ink cartridges have been reduced in price by a total of R114.00 which is a lot of money considering its 1/7th of the price saved! R114.00 is a lot of money! And they dont send you an email like 'Good News! As we were placing our order for your items, we were informed that we could save you even more! One of our representatives will be in contact with you to discuss your items. Thanks for using Kalahari.com' or something along those lines but im sure they just hold thumbs so you wont notice!

Good luck on the refund part.

Some items change in price on a daily basis on Kalahari. I see nothing wrong with that.

They initially found a supplier that offer to sell them the items for Rx. They eg. add their cost and markup to get to the total they offered you - R738. You accepted the price and paid for it. Now a new supplier shows up the next day or an old supplier drops their pricing/runs a promo or whatnot (I do not claim to know their internal systems) and kalahari lowers their pricing accordingly. You now want kalahari to give you the items at the new lower price of Supplier 2 after you already accepted their initial offer and they ordered the items for you from Supplier 1. That is just not how things work in life. Unless kalahari explicitly has a policy that covers this like Game.

Check what their return policy is and check what you would lose if you canceled the order and re-ordered at the new price.

Thats not the case at all, they have suppliers for everything i.e. computer parts, ink, homeware etc.
So more than likely, Frontosa/Sahara etc is the supplier of the inks;
So they call them up and place the order and are informed there and then of the price of stock, and at that stage they should compare it with their own prices.
Because prices of things are based off an older price list or cost of last sale, they dont call their supplier every day and confirm all of their items prices (i assume you can tell why this is a silly notion), so yes there is going to be some incorrect prices or prices that are too much.
All i ask is that if that is the case then yes, inform the person that the items are available for a lessor price, and if money has been exchanged either credit their account or refund them the difference; and yes i agreed to the price of R738 but due to the fact that its the only price on their website (and since that price was wrong, then what other choice did i have?)
Otherwise i can just as easily cancel the order re-place the order and save the money!
So what you telling me is - that just because i accepted an expired price/incorrect price that i must pay for it when the new price is cheaper? seems a bit redundant to me...

Thats my point, The items with all of their mark ups and costs included cape to R738.00
but now their new updated prices with their mark up and costs included is R114.00 less than it was on their old price list.
