I will never shop at Kalahari again.
I have mailed them twice as well as having a telephonic call with an utter dick of a guy who laughed at me on the phone.
48hrs later, still no response despite e-mailing them the required documents.
Did you guys at least something on Hellopeter? Usually get a response through there.
Well, Since their T&Cs clearly state that what happened was not allowed, you will probably get a response stating that the T&Cs dont support it. And that the use of the vouchers as we did was a blatant abuse of a vulnerability.
So, while all of us would have preffered that they honoured the purchases as a sign of "goodwill" for making them aware of this vulnerability, they are within their rights to do what they did...
Unfortunately.
Finally... Why the gloves for Kalahari?
One has to wonder how many shills are on board re-piping the coupon lie, it has been posted numerous times that those "coupons" was actually vouchers. Of course mybb/mygaming never went into clarifying it or ask the necessary hard hitting question as JES said he would.
Perhaps he did, but then one has to wonder why it was never mentioned.
Sadly

As with vodacom data VS Debbie is this another Kalahari VS Not coupons ?

Well if it would go down to court (we know it won't), if you say the text on an ad is dark grey or black, it is either the one or the other. Whether they look very alike on a white paper, they are not exactly the same, yet they are very much alike.Maybe I'm just a rube, but can someone please explain to me what the difference is between a coupon and a voucher?
As far as I understand it, and the web-of-lies explains it, the word is mostly interchangeable.....so trying to base a case on the fact that it was a voucher rather than a coupon seems a bit like wasted time to me?
...anyhoo....

Thus if Kalahari want to exercise their T&Cs, they have to be very specific, because the T&Cs use one word, not the other, and in law the exact word you use, will make or break the case.
Then again, this will never go as far as a court, so who really cares![]()
