Lol, yes. If I get DSTV to start with I'll be happy with the R29 p.m. bouquet. I mainly want clear SABC, eTV, etc... channels so the meager amount of Multichoice channels that comes with their R29 offering is just a bonus really.
Where were you yesterday? I just ordered 2 DSTV decoders last night...Get an OpenView decoder. Once-off payment and it's free. ETV is glorious in HD.

Forgot to mention the Openview decoders work on IS20![]()
Still waiting for Kalahari to come fetch an item I have to return, they really taking their time though.
Their today means next week (if lucky).
Is that a good or bad thing??Forgot to mention the Openview decoders work on IS20![]()

So if I have active dstv at home and if I buy an open view decoder.Good thing. Meaning it works on a DSTV dish.

I simply plug in the open view decoder to the existing cable from my dish? And it works.
Is that right?
That's right. You can confirm with Openview on facebook.
cool was not aware - might consider getting this just conect it to my Multi switch
Hows the chanels?
Clarity wise the channels are better than Dstv. etv and the e+ channels are crystal clear HD but don't expect to see the latest content. The kids shows and music videos are good and the odd Champions League match coupled with Thursday nights lineup on eTV are more than enough to justify the once off payment.
[thread-hijack]Rather buy Space decoder than Elsat that way you can edit the transponders for ore channels
