Hello,

We have a problem, can't access banking sites or any other https sites thanks to KIS 2011 blocking our attempts.

It says the certificate is not valid etc, but we have never used a certificates except for business integrator. We are tryting to log into normal internet banking and the Antivirus is blocking us.

Even paypal.com is blocked.

I added an exclusion for Https://*.* as told by the Kaspersky support staff. And now it works, but I am curious to know why the other pc's aren't having this problem.

There is some application on the pc called gemsafe, which has to do with certificates, but I don't know why it is on the pc.

Perhaps I made this topic in vain, and all the sollutions are self explainatory. But I just wanted to see if there are any others who might have had similar experiences? What is the safest way to allow access to certain websites without filtering everything, (https only) as I have done?

Yep, had the exact same problem last year. Something went wonky with the certificate store. Tried everything, including uninstalling and reinstalling Kaspersky. In the end I got tired of faffing around with my system and did a full reinstall. This was a while ago so perhaps a new solution is available. Make sure you download the latest version of Kaspersky when/if you do a reinstall.

Thanks for your help. I was sure there had to be others with the same experience.
