Anyone have any funny issues with kpowersave? After being idle for 5 minutes, it autodims my monitor. And yes, I have disabled autodim. The only way to force it back to full brightness, is either unplug/replug the the powersupply, or to force it to another power theme, and then back to performance. I also have brightness set to 100%.

Any ideas?

Have you tried uninstalling it (I don't even have it on my laptop)?

Are you sure you are changing the running profile?

@Milomak: Not quite sure what you mean by profile? If you're refering to the power scheme, then yes I am sure I am changing it. What I have also noticed is that when I open certain applications (virtualbox for example) it also auto dims.

Unfortunately, if I right click on my desktop, select configure desktop and then go display, my X hangs, so if there is something in there to be changed, I can't.

@froot: Not so sure about the uninstall as if I quit powersave, it dims automatically. If I also choose not to start kpowersave at X startup, its all dim.

Is there anywhere else you can change brightness?
