  1. Well I've seen an iPhone3G send an mp3 via bluetooth, but cannot accept one.
  2. Lame and neither is the Omnia, but it get's it done.
  3. See point 1
  4. Yes

1) You can send to a from an iPhone to other devices via bluetooth
2) Are you really resorting to "comparing' the iPhone to an Omnia.. I am 100% positive the Nokia 3310 can do things the omnia cant.
3) See 3 below vv
4) /facepalm

AND FOR THE CONVERSATION WINNER:
It will only really work well with apple and not other toys.
3)Can find me another phone (that isnt dump) that can control my WINDOWS pc from where ever I am?

Sure that the 3310 can also forward texts unlike the iPhone in it's day.
I'm saying that a multimedia faceted phone that has you sending and receiving emails should at least allow for the facility to perform a rather minor task of adding an attachment.
The iPhone is hype and annoying, no multi-tasking tsk...

Well unfortuntely for you most people dont need a bloalted OS with half working features, there is an app available to do most things anyway. The iphone does not multitask as some may wish but listening to music while surfing the net or chatting is multitask enough for me.

Yes there's always an app!
Why can it not perform the required tasks out of the box?
Anyway - I'm not going to respond here anymore.
Had my say and I'm done here.

There's iBluetooth & iFile if you jailbreak, full access to the filesystem and bluetooth file sharing.

isn't that the point?

Windows has a crappy paint program - so get a better app - same with it's browser.
It can't ZIP/RAR? download an App!

that's what it's all about

The mere fact that you aren't stuck with out of the box features and can just "get an app to do it" is what makes this phone awesome. and if you look at app amount, apple Rules by a zillion miles

Anyway, I don't see why my retarded thread is a target for apple vs *whatever* battles - I just wanna learn all there is to this amazing phone :erm:

PS: Best app so far: Stanza

Always been an "apple hater", not an iPhone hater hehe

Quick question - i've got itunes at work - i've downloaded like 55 free apps, I right clicked and clicked "Show files" - I then copied these to a flash disk. can I go home and copy these into my "home itunes" applications folder? will it add the new apps and sync?

You can authenticate 5 computers to one account, if they're both authenticated with the same account it will be fine, also home sharing allows you to share with more iphones, itouch.

One thing you should get when/if you jailbreak, is lockinfo. Shows all your mails, sms', missed calls, twitter messages weather and so on right on the lockscreen
