Kenya vs US App Store

I have an iPod with an SA account already :/

So I'm going to need two

Created an account on Kenya App Store, and picked up Order & Chaos Online for $0,99 !!!!!
So glad gift vouchers are now going to be a thing of the past. Loving this app store. Check out www.appshopper.com to see free apps and price changes. Haven't found one on Kenyan store that isn't also on special. Loving it. CC purchases FTW!!!

timmie - no books though?

So no Steve Jobs biography?

I'm in the same boat...

Had the Ipod for ages, and a RSA iTunes account.
Getting the Ipad 2 next week - and am now toying with my account options...

Any advice on the following:

I've uninstalled my Itunes on the laptop.
Assuming I start up the Ipad - and go with a Kenya/US iTunes account - if I then reinstall iTunes on the laptop, will I simply be able to "register" my 'new' iTunes (Kenya/US) account on the laptop, to thereby ensure that both Ipad and Ipod 'work' on the same iTunes account?

Uhm - that might have been as clear as mud, but hope you get what I'm asking... :p

One more thing - reading the above, am I correct in saying that whereas the Kenya iTunes account doesn't have the same movies/media etc., the Apps are the same as the US iTunes store? Put differently, if I'm primarily interested in the Apps, will the Kenya itunes account be fine?

[oh, by the way - hello all! my 1st post! :) ]

Yes on the games front at least. All I really had a look at yesterday. Same specials as well. I go to www.appshopper.com to see what apps have had a price drop. Everyone one I saw on the site, was at the same price on the Kenya AppStore. Was a bit surprised at first. But just glad I can finally buy using my credit card and no longer need to use vouchers. Pity I only found out about this now.

Thanks Timmie23...

Anyone able to shed light on whether the Kenya iTunes APPS (other than the games) is on a par with the US site?

Heard that there are no movies or music, and is lacking in the books dept.

Yeah good plan, then there is no worry - everything will be there, just the vouchers route to purchase stuff which I've used many times without a problem.

Thanks! Just finished opening my US account - easy-peasy.
Linking Paypal, and when that process is done - will purchase my first voucher through Wildtwig.

So far, so good.

As an aside - my one criticism of the US iTunes store: There's simply SOOOOOO much to choose from..... :)

I'm only interested in Apps, so for me Kenya is perfect. Don't like the idea of having to pay extra for the vouchers. $10 for $12,49. No thanks. That's like 2 and a half apps

Can I change my US itunes account to a Kenyan one? Or should I create another account?
