How do you guys feel about the permutations the boks may find themselves in?
Assuming we get through figi and argentina/scotland, who do we want to play? A resurgent english side, or a heavily supported french side.
Besides the obvious "wilkinson" factor, the england scrum may not be such a push over considering the injuries we have sustained lately. Home supprt, as well as france's unpredictability is not exactly going to help?

While i share your optimism, will the sprinkboks keep their heads considering the road to the cup has just been paved in gold?

I wouldn't say paved in gold - we had decent challenges from Tonga and Samoa. NZ and Oz had an easy run into the quarters. I'd say we're better off playing England, France to me looked better defensively and Wilkinson seems to have lost it a bit. All that doesn't matter now though, we first need to get there and I have a feeling that Argentina just might pose a threat.
i agree completely. The next three games are not going to be easy.
Will we keep our heads against argentina if we beat figi by 50 points? We have a great team, but for some reason, the "over confidence" factor shows up every now and then.
We should still take the trophy though.

The French will support the boks, although there is a massive english supporter presence in France.

Support wont make any difference.
Think we may play Scotland, not Argentina.
We need to do the usual in the 1st 20 min against Figi.
Then we`ll be OK.

well i cant laugh, i laughed at france beating NZ look how that ended
SA should want to face England. The psychological factor of the 36-0 defeat would still be fresh in their minds, and to be honest, SA has a much better organised pack, despite the injuries. And - England will have added pressure as defending champs. On the other hand, France would have home ground advantage - an advantage that took SA to victory in 95. Jonny Wilkinson is overrated - his kicking was off yesterday and he probably will end up kicking any possession England has away in a final vs SA. SA must just stick to their game plan and the cup will be ours.

you never know, it might still happen. I've said from the start france are going to take it.
I rate argentina will give us a very close match if we play them

If we play like we want it, south africa will take any of the remaining teams.
Its going to be an entirely mental game for us from now on.
When we walk out onto the field, if we look focused, and execute, then we will win. For me, it is that simple.
