Actually it's not bad... but I wan't to know... what's it feel like taking a picture of a camera staring back at you... must be kinda weird... like watching yourself in the mirror...
Did you feel self conscious?
 
Thought I'd play around a bit more today with the diffuser this time off camera with the plastic-fantastic nifty-fifty wide open at ISO 800.





The human portraits came out even better but alas only the cat would sign a release :)

This is a good idea, how did you attach the flat bottom of the bowl to the flash? Is the inside of the bowl white or black... Think I might try this, harsh flash aint pretty.

P.S. please try post photo's on MBB not on flickr... capped ;)

I glued two hinged pieces of foam board on to the base of the bowl (which is currently black inside) and used my trusty Velcro straps to hold it on to the flash head.

I post some photos on MyBB but due to the gallery's compression tend to favour flickr.
 
Hmm . . packing this without turning it into an accordion is proving to be tricky . . .

The plastic is pretty flimsy. It got crushed like a grape in my bag :(
