If you pay closer attention to the date-stamps of the "KFC? Yuck!" posts, you will notice that they appear roughly around the time that folks are broke and cannot afford their KFC fix. It's denial. This thread appeared when most people are getting paid and can afford the stuff.

+1 .... also have almost totally given up on KFC .... except for the burger and pops ...
I used to enjoy the chicken but somewhere along the way they totally messed up the "secret recipe"

The pic was taken by a vegetarian so they probably ensured that it looked as horrible as possible. I took that pic and promo pics into consideration, and the result was that I was still curious.
Funny enough, in real life it looked pretty much exactly between rpm's pic and promo pics, and it was yummy. Now stop hating and go get yourself one.
