Think I found your problem
Or maybe that's just because I don't believe in evolution and think that Korean cars are still crappy.

Aaah that is a different story, but like Vegeta mentions have you been touching the glass with a naked hand/fingers?

I have a 2010 Cerato (same model) and havent had any issues. Still using the factory bulbs so dont think its a recall kind of thing.
I drive a Kia Cerato 2.0 hatch auto, 2011 model. The car has blown multiple head / braking lights during its lifespan.
Initially it didn't bother me but now in 1 week it will blown both headlights and a brake light in one go, at random.
When driving and looking at other Cerato's (even Koup derivatives) on the road I notice more and more vehicles with blown lights.
I once spoke to a Kia mechanic and he was of the opinion its a well know issue with the vehicles, if so why has there not been a recall of the vehicles?
Have you been affected or know about some with the same issue maybe?
Hey bud,
I have the Kia Koup 2012 auto and have the exact same issue. Service manager at Kia Centurion told me it is a common known problem. When I queried as to why there hasn't been a fix issued, got some rubbish response.
Its a real frustration as I simply don't have the time to go every month to have Kia replace them.
