Hi everyone,

I'm looking at purchasing a KIA proceed in the next few weeks. I've found a well priced one with full house.

Has anyone had any experience with this car and KIA as a brand? should I be scared that they might pull out of the country sometime soon?

I know the Koup is the one to go for, but I cant afford the extra bit and there is a long waiting list.

Thank you

I certainly hope they don't! Kia has existed for more than 40 years, so they're pretty strong. I bought a Picanto 4 years ago and haven't had a day's hassles. Services are a little costly for the car's size and price, but no more than any other similar cars. I also bought a 2010 Cerato 2 months ago and it's fantastic value for money.

Err - The Koup is R40000 LESS than the proceed.

KIA is not going anywhere IMO, only going to get bigger in SA.

2nd hand? details?

You better buy it soon or I will.

As far as I know the turbo proceed won't be coming to SA - I asked at Kia the other day. Not sure why its on their website.

Not just on their site - there's a print ad in the latest CAR mag too.

Oh that is strange, might be coming later in the year and the salesman is trying to offload stock *shrug*
