KIA rio hatch back

They are brilliant. Good looking, feature packed and come at a very competitive price. Long warranty and service plan is nice to :)

Hyundai and Kia are growing exponentially every year so they are a very safe bet.

You might just have to worry about the waiting list.

I hope you're taking the 1.4Tec.

Nope no tec's in the country and long waiting list, had to settle for the 1.4 but at least i am getting it with 17" rims :D. Would have loved the tec but the waiting list is too long sadly.

the boat landed yesterday so hopefully i get it before my trip this weekend.

Did you ever get it?
SO wants a new ride. I like the RIO, caught my eye a while back. I told her to go test drive it, but she wants a polo.
Any feedback so far?

She wants to be highjacked?

Just get the Rio. Much better deal.

The Rio Sedan is easier to get and looks just as spiffy?

I dunno sedans are not my thing hey, i ended up as brawler mentioned getting the kia cerato hatch, thanx to brawler i must admit :D. Ended up costing about 174 with a service plan, somewhere around there and i gotta say it is one awesome car.

Personally i would get a kia over a polo. Bloody epic cars they are making.

You will struggle though to get a rio sedan or hatch. If you go for the tec expect a long wait but the cerato over the tec is a much better idea.

What is the polo costing?

1.4 - does not have power. Better if you get a decent ride like Ford Fiesta.

Fitting 17inch will make it worse. Rather stick to 14inch

Ford fiesta is also 1.4 isn't it? well the lower end version. So how would sticking with a 1.4 ford be better than sticking with a 1.4 kia?

1.4 Ambiente R 152,509 R173,860, holy F that is how much my kia cerato 1.6 cost  also the ford only has 60k service plan, the kia has 90k

Yea sticking with ford sounds like a stupid decision.

The 1.6 fords are almost 200k, you can get a 2.0 kia cerato hatch for that price.

With the 1.4 ford you get wind up windows for the back bwhahaha. Geez that 1.4 fiesta is over priced for what you get

quality vs bling bling

quality vs bling bling

Then i am afraid you have not driven a kia because only someone very ignorant would assume kia is not quality.

Sadly you do sound like some ford fanboy to me that would rather buy a watered down 1.4 ford fiesta over a 1.6 kia cerato which is a remarkable car.

Here we go again...

Kias are not the crap they used to be, IMO they are as good or better than the Fords and Toyotas in the world when it comes to things like value, build quality, aesthetics, safety etc. I have nothing against Ford, my previous car was also a Ford.

My Cerato is 2 years old next week and it still looks as good as it did when it came out of the showroom.

Really we cant compare the shiny bling vs quality.

Go and buy it , in 2014 you will be singing different tunes.

I don't know what this thread is about but I have to say:
