Kieswetter is sitting with a massive problem

Actually, to the contrary it does not. They know they will be getting taxes due. Their problem are with the individual self-employed. But, they too are easy. Just take their last tax form, investigate it and if anything was not not reported, prosecution and 15 years in jail along with asset forfeiture would be sufficient.
The fact tax revolts are rare shouldn't fool you into thinking there doesn't come a time when they happen.

Mostly they come out of nowhere to... those who assume that because they never saw one, personally during their life time, therefore they are a myth of a bygone era or at least an artifact of history and as we all know history never repeats...

It's a strange thing that people who believe those with the worst track-record, on crimes against humanity, and the best evidence of creative accounting at the most influential levels, resulting in never before witnessed national debt levels, also believe their future is safest in these same people's hands.

I think you like to make kuk up.

So, you are happy to pay for your food at a restaurant, store, or for your hotel room. But, the government, with only one source of income, should not be paid taxes? Okay....

The two scenarios have f all to do with each other.

why does a government need a source of income?

you have to demonstrate that

also if I pay for my food, I expect my food...

What do you, out of interest, think a government does?

What do you, out of interest, think a government does?

I don't care what a government does, what is it supposed to do is the question

you as a communist think a government is entitled to do as it pleases, and we must fund it with the ability to do so

be careful what you say further, because you are treading on being an authoritarian communist

If you do not care then you do not know and your comments are moot and irrelevant.

Really? Didn't realise roads and water infrastructure built itself.

While I would prefer govt to stay out of my business as much as possible, I do understand that there are basic services that make sense to provide using taxes.

Otherwise you end up with this mess.

I'm looking for something that states that objectively government functions are this and that...

If this cannot be provided, then one can argue that its not the role of government to provide roads and water infrastructure, that free markets are able to provide these services as well.

Capitalists can't argue government must provide this and that, its a contradiction especially if their underlying premise is that free markets work.

@rvZA is the communist that he constantly derides on this forum

Just another regime apparatchik. Not sure why the lugenpresse is attempting to drive empathy his way.

Do you know anyone that doesn't pay taxes?

If you do, please ask them to dm me the formula.

Unless you can live buying food from street stalls, who doesn't pay taxes?

Even then, there is direct tax (e.g. VAT and Petrol and income tax), and then there is indirect taxation i.e. the erosion of the purchasing power of the currency, which central-banks do by design (without anyone openly competing to shut that exploitation down).

Buy a taxi, operate in cash, join an association, don't pay tax, threaten mayhem when questioned.

Join the anc or eff get into the higher ranks, don't pay tax, threaten violence and or exposure if confronted.

Etc

The entire national government could disappear tomorrow and the country would probably run better. Personally I don't believe we need a national government, or nation states for that matter.

I think you need an opt-in geographic border, to start something.

I guess buying contiguous land is one way to do it.
