Kindle question

I've had mine for several months and I have never bothered with a cover. Mine either stays next to my bed, or in my flat pouch in my rucksack. Have'nt bothered with a cover cos haven't needed it yet. In fact, I'm thinking the cover will just get in the way when I am reading?

Do you cover your softcover books as well?

My cousin had her Kindle replaced with no questions when she dropped it and the screen cracked, just because she had an Amazon cover
The cover doesn't get in the way, it folds out the way around the back. It does help to protect the screen if you chuck it in a briefcase or handbag.

Seriously? Maybe that's why the price is what it is. You could consider it a form of insurance
