This is pretty cool, but I'd rather get a normal actual high-speed (20-32MB/s) flashdrive for cheaper and use TrueCrypt with 256-bit AES encryption, since it works on Windows, Linux & MAC.

meh rather get a USB 3 16GB for a R100 more and then use Truecrypt

Why is it so pricey?
Also... password protected? Not so secure. Many people are not good at remembering or not inclined to generate secure passwords.

Can't see this selling well - as most posters pointed out there's a faster and cheaper solution readily available.

u can get a genuine 32gb for under 1k and use other methods to secure your stuff
