Kingston HyperX Blu RAM review

hardware reviews like this should link to mygaming and their forum don't you think?

looking good - not looking at buying ram soon though. Transcend 2000MHz 8GB will do for now.

I don't really agree with that benchmark. Kingston HyperX Blu is entry level. Seriously, CL9? That is terrible. At least it's cheap, so there is that.

Competitors are offering 1600mhz CL7 RAM at normal 1.5v, so this ram's cons in my opinion is that it has terrible timings and unimpressive performance in the face of competition.

big up to kingston, never let me down, unlike corsair (will never buy that brand ever again).

Well now that PC hardware is so cheap -- expect nothing less. With the Mobile market booming this would have been even better yrs ago. The prices are only proportional to what's happening to the PC industry.

I agree, if one was doing a normal review of memory, then slower is a negative and should be mentioned.
Practically speaking, I maintain (not that my opinion really counts here), speed should take second place to quantity. If you are file paging, then you will really see a difference in speed as you already know when you run out of memory. I think the difference in speed performance is really only seen in the speed test apps and ones imagination. I am not saying don't buy it, as if you have the money, then why not... every performance increase "could" help, but imho I don't think most people should really bother about it, even the majority of gamers.
