Anyone done any kitchen upgrades and went the granite way ?

Had mine redone earlier this year - but I'm in Port Elizabeth though.

All I can say is brace your wallet.

Used Granite City in Wynberg (JHB). Went with Rustenburg granite, was under 1k per linear metre incl installation.

Rustenberg is quite popular, although 4 years ago I paid exactly R1000 pm, but this was in CT

You get cheaper more expensive variants.
