Whats the moral of the story in all this? Never take anything for granted. The ANC took for granted that the world will be falling over themselves to bail out their favorite little Apartheid struggle heroes. They were dead wrong and got it all wrong. Their blatant corruption outweighed their credentials which created far too much risk. And their love for Russia and Hamas was the final nail in the coffin in a changing world that has left the ANC far behind and stuck in the past. Now they are nothing but aging Apartheid relics; old revolutionaries with their walking sticks, still re-living a war that ended 35 years ago.

Their love for Russia and Hamas were almost tolerable due to their own history and so the world tolerated to an extent. However in a fast changing world that is facing growing economic slumps left and right, it all added up to now being placed right at the back of the priority queue.

Now they are nothing but aging Apartheid relics; old revolutionaries with their walking sticks, still re-living a war that ended 35 years ago. They belong in a museum, not in modern day politics.

I think they are moving too fast to be making big decisions in this current world uncertainty. That's just my view.
