Came across these guys on tik tok and I don't know if I should laugh or cry. I can't take these guys seriously, seems like a scam

Commodotity traders on TikTok - unusual, but not seeing the scam. Seems like they recruiting people through tik tok.

What does stand out are these comments

"Cherry you an international model and made millions in the modelling space......"
"Anje you have had more then half a billion rands in a real estate portfolio.", "I achieved that in 3 months"

Why the need to go to tik tok to market etc?

Watched it too bit of an off one. Also not sure what exactly was achieved with the half bil real estate portfolio..

That leveraged, that in revenue etc...

Not clear just weird....

Let go to Menlyn walk around and talk about investments

You can buy all these things through verified FSCA approved brokers like IG and Thinkmarkets in SA if you really wanna mess around with them.

These peeps just weird...

"Global Base Metals Supplier". List starts with: coal, diesel, crude oil. These are NOT base metals meneer. Neither is lithium, cement, ...

True. The average TikToker strikes me as the kind of person that needs to pit an "E" on their elbow. In order to tell the difference between their elbow and arsehole.

Very weird.

I watched a few more of the videos, they also on instagram - amusing stuff, but the more i watch the less credible it appears. Very puzzled at what they on about, why tik tok and instagram?

They guys who would buy and sell this stuff - would not be on those platforms

It looks dodgy - which shouts scam, but who is likely to get caught here? From who they targeting on tiktok - the average tiktoker is not going to be buying/selling coal or chrome or whatever they selling/buying.

Intrigued though and following with interest. Some of the other vids though LOL easy on the eye:

Kruger Commodities

I have researched Kruger Commodities thoroughly before ordering chrome from them. Found them on social media and first thought it was a controversial marketing tactic and wasn't sure about the purchase but then discovered them on the central supplier database registered as Kruger Diesel (pty)...
